Lantmännen Unibake is one of Europe’s leading bakery companies, producing bread for both retail and food service. In Sweden, we operate three production facilities located in Örebro, Mantorp, and Huddinge. Here, we bake high-quality products such as hamburger buns, hot dog buns, breakfast breads, and bake-off products. To ensure efficient and sustainable distribution, we also have a fully automated freezer warehouse in Örebro.

We are now looking for an experienced bakery operator for our bakery in Huddinge. Our operations run in 3 shifts, 5 days a week, where mainly day or evening shifts are relevant for this full-time position.

This is what you will do

At the Huddinge bakery, we produce par-baked baguettes that we then flash freeze. Our product range is broad, and we manufacture both wheat baguettes and whole grain baguettes with seed toppings. The work as a bakery operator involves being part of the process and the craft of transforming ingredients into finished bread.

At our bakery in Huddinge, we take pride in our highly automated processes, and as a bakery operator, you play a crucial role in ensuring that the products we deliver to customers and subsequently consumers are of the highest quality. The work is technical as you monitor and adjust machines to achieve the best final result and conduct regular checks to ensure high quality. Of course, manual work is also included, where your intuition and eye for dough and bread can shine.

You have:

• A degree in food technology or are a trained machine/process operator, or equivalent work experience
• Solid experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in food/bakery
• Experience working in a process-oriented manner with a focus on safety and quality
• Good IT and systems skills (alarms, controls, safety) and mechanical knowledge
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

It is highly meritorious if you also have:

• Experience managing multiple processes simultaneously, manufacturing and safety, with the ability to see the whole and the connections
• Experience in craftsmanship and processes. Dough, fermentation, and bread with an understanding of influencing factors (temperature, humidity, etc.)

Salary

Salary and shift compensation are paid according to a central agreement with LIVS.
